This place has to be visited beacause of its unique location. Platanos is located at the highest point of the island, surrounded by plane trees and flowers, across the street from the chapel of the Prophet Elias. The balcony of Platanos is the right place to enjoy the stunning panoramic views of Skiathos Town, the neighboring Skopelos island and small Tsougrias & Arkos islets.
Platanos is good for a family visit: coffee and breakfast are served in the morning, and traditional Greek dishes & homemade sweets till the late evening. Needless to say that this is one of the most romantic places on the island.
