The Mandraki Village Hotel owners support small Greek food producers. Outside the hotel, in the town, they created the Ergon Corner, where visitors can explore, taste and buy a range of Greek natural products. The concept of Ergon is a new look at traditional Greek recipes in the style of "meze" (appetizers), a small portion of the exceptional food that is served for all.
Dimitris Skarmoutsos, the chef of Ergon, is one of the first Greek chef who presents a new Greek cuisine, culinary expanding culinary borders, but at the same time preserving the tradition.
In addition to the chief’s “meze”, you have to try the local halva here — it is equally delicious in different variations.
